rainy day, please stay

We woke up this morning to the sound of rain hitting the windows, and it was glorious. I'm so grateful for it, as are the trees, lakes, and streams, I'm sure. I made myself cozy by turning on my fake fireplace, making some tea, and putting on my favorite album by The Sundays while I worked. My husband is also home today--sick with bronchitis it would seem--and though I am sad for him, I am happy for me, because it means I have someone else besides the cat to talk to.

I love rainy days. (Especially if it isn't a whole string of them and then you forget what the sun looked like). I plan on taking frequent breaks today to fully enjoy it. These are some of my favorite rainy-day pastimes; what are yours?
