It seems I'm not the only one stocking up for the colder months. Observe Chippy here, stuffing his cheeks from the seeds dropped by the messy birds at the feeder above. What a dapper little fellow!

stocking up
The past few weeks I have been buying lots of supplies and building up inventory for what I hope will be a busy shopping season this fall/winter. (Summer was discouragingly slow--so much so, we actually discussed me closing shop and going back to teaching. Eeps!)
